Program Description: The Leithsville Volunteer Fire Company is located in Northampton County in Lower Saucon Township. Its primary service area consists of Lower Saucon Township. We provide mutual aid to other areas including Hellertown Borough, parts of Bucks and Lehigh County. Our Department is located in an area that has experienced a large growth increase over the last several years, many of the buildings being residential. The men and women of our department answered the call of duty 207 times in 2005. Most of these calls were fire related or vehicle accident/rescue. Our equipment includes a 2001 E-One Engine, a 1991 E-One Heavy Rescue, 2 Tanker Trucks and a brush/field truck. The department is looking for volunteers to assist us in implementing programs that can meet the needs of the community as a whole and keep up with the added expectations this growth brings. We offer an incentive program to all company members. We are continually looking for volunteers to assist with important but time consuming non-emergency tasks.
